The new state of the art terminal plays an important link to the town of Charleville for both regional tourism and connectivity to the Cooper Basin mining region.   

The form of the building has a central entry spine with the wings of the terminal lifting to create a voluminous interior whereby the views of the landscape and surrounding historical buildings can be enjoyed.

To the North is the original terminal which is being re-purposed as an aviation museum

 The $2.5Million terminal is designed to cater for 2 Airlines (currently QANTAS and REX) and includes:

  • Check In Facility and Drop-Off
  • Provision for Baggage Handling and Security Facilities
  • Coffee Shop and Conference Facilities
  • Departures and Arrivals Lounge
