The Beachhouse, Mooloolaba

The Beachhouse, Mooloolaba

Architecture | Interior Design | Project Management

PROJECT VALUE: $2.5 Million

The award-winning Beachhouse is a beachhouse in every sense of the word. A building both highly finished and soft edged, designed to weather over time.

Each of the three apartments occupies one floor of the building. Planned pavilion style with bedrooms opening into a secondary common area and creating division of space and privacy of zones.  Taking advantage of views over waterfront and rear, the building picks up light and ventilation from both sides.  Able to breathe and pick up the prevailing wind direction, comfort is not reliant on mechanical ventilation, on the contrary, all sides open up for true interaction with the environment, beach house style.

Timber boarding, batten screens and portals, coloured rendered masonry and metal wall cladding all result in a unique and dynamic multi-residential building with breathtaking views.
